The reason I went to San Francisco in December, 2011, was because I won tickets to see Metallica at the Fillmore for their 30th Anniversary week of shows.
They closed out the nights with their own set of rarer or never before played songs and had a host of special guests each night.
Metallica frontman James Hetfield, drummer Lars Ulrich and lead guitarist Kirk Hammett perform at the Fillmore, night 1.
