Lake Worth is one of South Florida’s musical hot spots, the town covers all genres. Straight from the L-Dub is Driven Adoration X, a young metalcore group. They make excellent use of the good cop/bad cop dual vocals covered by JT Wilkins and Aaron Hoyt, respectively. Even while playing the keyboards and singing at the same time, Aaron manages to rock out pretty hard. They play tight and cohesively with a well rehearsed stage show which really gets both the band and the crowd going. With a large number of original songs under their belt, they also play a number of covers, one of which is a great Avenged Sevenfold cover, this was definitely a crowd pleaser when I saw them. Driven Adoration X is now touring the local scene heavily, with shows up and down the coast from Ground Control in West Palm Beach to gigs in North Miami.
